Question: Unsatisfactory results from mini facelift, 2nd opinion please?
Answer: Mini facelift give many results, and this is just about what you would expect from a mini lift. In our practice, a lower face and neck lift procedure accomplishes tightening loose facial and neck skin, tightening loose facial and neck muscles, lifting the jowls, and removing fat deposits in the neck along with a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. Nasolabial folds will not be improved with a facelift.

Question: Do I need a lower facelift or would Ultherapy and fat transfer for the under eye and fillers work?

Most patients have some degree of visible bruising and swelling for 10 days after the surgery, and are then able to return to their normal activities.

Question: Is it a reasonable expectation for me to go back to my desk job five days after facelift surgery when working remotely?
Answer: Most patients go back to work at one week after a face lift surgery. You’ll find yourself quite tired the first two weeks after a lower face and neck lift procedure. At five days, you can certainly answer phone calls and limited emails.

Question: Does a platysma plastyWith lower face/necklift meet my goals?
Answer: A lower face and neck lift with the platysma plasty can accomplish your goals. This procedure involves removal of fat deposits above and below the platysma muscle itself, a platysma plasty, tightening loose facial and neck skin and lifting the jowls. This procedure takes approximately 3 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. Anticipate two weeks of the visible bruising and swelling.

Question: How long is the lower facelift recovery & is there a type of person/skin that are more likely to have problems?

You only have a minimal amount of laxity in the Skin in your neck. When patients have a recessive Chin profile, then consider placement of a chin implant for a permanent augmentation.

Question: Would chin liposuction help my chin area? 
Answer: More information is needed, such as your age, and BMI. After the fat has been removed from the neck, then a lower face and neck lift procedure may be required. In addition, you have fat deposits located above and below the platysma muscle in the neck, which must be removed at the same time.
